Ansible Automation Platform -part1

Ansible Automation Platform is a super useful toolkit for senior system administrators. It's basically an all-in-one toolbox for automating a bunch of IT stuff, allowing you to tackle things like application deployment, system configuration, and overall management at scale. In simpler terms, it helps you automate repetitive tasks and manage lots of systems efficiently.

Key Components
1. Ansible Engine:  Ansible Engine is the heart of the Ansible Automation Platform, a powerful tool for automating IT tasks like configuration, deployment, and provisioning across different systems.
2. Ansible Tower: Ansible Automation Controller, a web UI in Ansible Automation Platform 2, empowers IT professionals (developers, admins, architects, DevOps) to automate tasks like software installs, infrastructure setup, system configs, updates, patching, and even orchestrate complex application deployments.
3. Automation Hub: It lets you find and manage pre-built automation content (Content Collections) for your infrastructure needs, available as a cloud service or on-premise.
4. Automation Service Catalog:
5. Insights for the Ansible Automation platform: It is a built-in analytic tool that helps IT teams find, fix, and prevent problems across their infrastructure

What is LifeCycle Updates?
Lifecycle updates refer to the stages of support that Red Hat provides for different versions of the platform. These updates ensure you have access to bug fixes, security patches, and potentially new features depending on the specific update phase.

Maintenance Support 1 (Phase 1):

New versions of AAP receive priority support from Red Hat for about a year.

Maintenance Support 2 (Phase 2):

AAP Phase 2 offers limited bug fixes and security patches at Red Hat's discretion.

End-of-Life (EOL):

Once Phase 2 concludes, the version reaches its end-of-life. Red Hat no longer offers any updates or support for this version.
